I am honestly not ready for this. So not ready for this. After that run in talk with Jack in the bathroom of their private home, I made it back to the conservatory, managed to walk past the rest of my family to stand by my sister's side as my one time lover slipped an engagement ring on her finger.
I watched as photos were taken of the newly engaged couple. Thankfully, there were no overly dramatic displays or cheesy poses. Jack, to be honest, seemed a bit stiff. He just stood beside her like a robot, while our families showered them with congratulations. It wasn't the most romantic scene, but it was certainly less awkward than some I've witnessed.
