Lena's POV. As I drive back to the lab, my mind whirls back to when I got the letter from Leo, asking for my help and also when I decided to help him. Maybe I should've listened to Zoey, I should've said no, and by now, I would be back at home with my kids, none the wiser about what was going on here. But no, my bleeding heart had to go and say yes and now not only do I have to find a cure, I also have to go with Leo to New Orleans of all places to convince his witch friend to help us and then there's also the part where all this is a directed attack, which means that none of us here in the pack are safe. “Yeah, I should've said no.” I whisper to myself as I stop the car and get out of it. I take a deep breath and steady myself before I go back into the lab. There's no point thinking
