We were packed up, and the kids were excited about the road trip. I decided to drive instead of taking a plane; the drive down is about six hours, and between me and Zoey, it shouldn't be a problem. The truth is that with a flight, we would've gotten there in two hours, and then the drive down to the pack would've been about thirty minutes, but I wanted to postpone the reunion with Leo for as long as possible.
So the kids were buckled up in the back, and Zoey took the passenger seat. I was going to drive for the first three hours, and she would finish the journey. Zoey talked on the phone with Zeo, Leo's Beta, so they know to expect us, Zeo said that all my requirements have been met and our house is ready.
