The day of the bidding arrived quickly. Meredith came with Claire, her assistant, and spotted Mark and Joanna from a distance. They were seated in the front row, with Mark reassuring Joanna not to be nervous. Claire searched around but couldn't find their company's nameplate. After moving several rows forward, she discovered their seats had been placed right beside Mark. Claire gave Meredith an uneasy look. "This..."
