"Matias!" I shouted loudly, not knowing how to do the shower. He steps inside the bathroom and his eyes widen as he turns around within a second. I rose an eyebrow confused on why he turned around, "what?"
"You're not wearing any clothes Anna.." I look down and gasp as I laugh loudly, covering my mouth. I grab a towel and wrap it firmly around my body.
"Sugar, sorry, how do you turn of the shower?" I whispered, he asked if I was decent before tuning. I smile as he watches me for a second before turning one of the buttons around. The water immediately stops running and as he shuffles back, he was faced in front of me. I smiled softly once again; he glances down at my neck.
He thoroughly stared at it, his eyes shifting. "Why are your eyes black?" He looks back up at me, the moment I caught him out. He is about to walk away, but I wrap my hands around his arms pulling him close to me. "My grandfathers' book, your eyes change colours once you see a soulmate or some sort, and being the full moon-"
I finally put it together. "Anastasia."
"You are one of them. Are you not?" His eyebrows raise, his jaw tenses, I move closer to him, resting my hand onto his chest looking deeply into his eyes. He breathes in and looks at me for a slight second, "you are a garden fairy!" I shot out; he pushes me away more confused than ever as he lets out a nervous chuckle. I grab my clothes noticing they were all dirty. "You do not mind lending me a shirt? Do you?" I whisper.
"Of course, I don't, follow me." He whispered nervously.

.
.
"This is amazing!" I screamed out biting into the chicken. I plumped onto the couch besides Matias as we watch the fire before us flame highly. "I did not know men cook."
"That's sexism Anna," I chuckle shaking my head as I continue devouring myself. All I eat at home is vegetables. We were never allowed as much meat but now. This was my opportunity to fulfil my long need. When I noticed Matias only had a few, i immediately stopped.
"Sorry," I whispered. He glanced down at me, his blue eyes sparking with the reflection of red.
"Why? Eat." He demanded pointing to the food.
"But you only had four, I had six or maybe more. I lost count." He chuckled shaking his head, I pick up the chicken cautiously as I watched him. Just in case he changed his mind, but he just watched me weirdly. I took a bite of it and immediately handed it to him. "I cannot. I feel guilty."
"If I took a bite, would that stop you from feeling guilty?" I nodded my head as he wraps his hands, which covered half my wrist pulling it towards him. He opens his mouth, that's when I see his canines. They were huge, pointy. Scary. He takes a bite and chews on it.
"Your canines are huge." I whispered.
"Runs in the family." He answered. I move closer, brushing my thumbs against his lips as I pull it down. He watches my every movement as I lean over him. I see his White teeth, shining, then his long canines. I crease my eyebrows in confusion.
"This is sharp. You can kill a deer with this." I mumbled, somethings didn't add up.
"Just eat the chicken Anisa." He deeply said, looking away from me. He focuses on the fire, after finishing I clean up and put the dishes away. Whilst doing this, Matias went to get more wood, I took this chance to look around. I pick myself up and enter his bedroom, looking behind me as I see another door. Hidden. Behind a bookshelf. I rose an eyebrow as I slowly pushed the bookshelf.
A metal door. Confused. Was a word to describe me right now. The moment I pressed my hand down onto it, it was pushed open. It was a heavy door, a really heavy door. Which then revealed stairs. Metal stairs. I look back before taking my first step down. My hands pressed into the wall as it glides down with every step I take. The more I enter, the more darker it got. Until I reached the end, stepping on concrete flooring. A box. A metal box with chains inside. My eyes widen as I enter further. What was this?
It was a see through cage. I pressed my hands into the metal, feeling how thick it was. What. On. Earth. Four chains. And then one big one. It was as if for an animal. Who is Matias? That's all I want to know.
I hear my name being called. A drop of wood pounded onto the ground. I rush back up the stairs as fast as i could. Shutting t he door gently behind me I immediately pushed the bookshelf back to where it was and pretended to look through the books. The door was pushed open, "you know, you really need to sort your books out by colour." I excused my self.
"What are you doing in here?"
"You said I could borrow a book every time I came?" Since when have I become such a good liar?
"I did. Doesn't mean you can come inside my room."
"Right, I apologise." He glanced at the bookshelf. The moment I was about to step out, he grabs my arms. I gasped as he threw me back into the room shutting the door behind me.
"You saw." He growls. I shake my head as the back of my legs collided with the bed causing me to fall into it.
"No, yes, I-"
"You invaded my privacy?"
"I am sorry." I whisper in fear as he stalks towards me, he grabs the back of my hair and pulls me towards him. I gasp as his eyes turn into a deep black, before shifting back to blue. Then back to black. He releases my hair and pushes himself away. Shaking his head.
"I'm f*****g calming down Max! I'm calm!" He shouts to himself as he grabs his hair. "I'm- I'm not hurting her! I'm not. She's mine." I slowly slide of the bed, staying in the corner as he takes a few deep breathes. Was he talking about me? I reach for him, my hands resting on his back as his fist pounds against the wall. I stroke his arms slowly then his face slowly turns, giving me a view of his side profile.
"I am not hurt Matias, I am fine." I whisper, I notice his breathing calming down, his eyes shifted back to a light blue. In my grandfathers book, he talks about shifting eyes, mind and changes. Matias is one of them. Matias is a wolf. It explains it all.
Was I scared? No.
