11 The Missing Asherley Blackwood received two ravens that morning, and both sent her straight to Joran Rosewood. She found the old seer tending his indoor garden, in a small corner of the castle grounds she’d bequeathed him after several rounds of begging that was beneath him. It was a silly little hobby, and rightly unnecessary, living amongst the splendorous fauna of Longwood Rush. It seemed almost an affront to what the Guardians had given the Westerlands in plenty, and a poor imitation at that. But Joran was a man of his whimsy as much as his visions, and keeping him happy was of utmost importance to her.
