I woke up to the sound of shouting. The door to the room was closed but I could hear the screaming through the wood. I went to sit up and winced sharply at the pain in my body. It had gotten worse. Suddenly the door opened and Rhys ran to my side. He held a book under his arm that he placed on the bed next to me. A woman entered after him and sneered at me in disgust.
