When we got back to the city, we went straight to the hospital. I was looking forward to it, very much so.
Joana came all the way nauseous, I had to stop a few times for her to vomit.
I had said that there was no problem if she ended up throwing up in the car, after all the car is just an object, the important thing is her well-being.
But Joana, stubborn as she is, she always told me to stop, I just followed her orders.
"I'm nervous," she says, holding my hand as we walk into the hospital.
