I WOKE up to the sweet sound of Roberta Flack's voice. Nanggaling iyon sa labas ng kwarto at marahil ay patugtog ni Lola O. "Hmm. . ." I feel so sated I couldn't open my eyes yet. Isinubsob ko ang mukha ko sa kobre kama katulad ng nakasanayan ko tuwing umaga, sininghot ko ang mabining amoy ng lavender na ginagamit kong pabango sa kama.
