HENRY'S POV

I saw my dear cousin walk back into the office with her mate. Selena was wearing an award winning smile. I wonder what compromise was made to create that smile. I always knew Alex was a switch based on her everyday personality, but she's never been one to compromise. I guess things change. Before my brain could catch the words coming out of my mouth, I spoke.

"So...Alex, I see you've made up. What compromise was made?" I mentally smacked myself.

She looked annoyed but answered anyways.

"If you must know, Selena won the argument. She gets to do bone marrow transplantation for the opportunity to give birth to a child or children. Now, can we please move forward with the task at hand."

Everyone nodded with smiles on their faces. Looks, like someone's having children whether she wants to or not.

We move through the rest of the meeting pretty smoothly. We decided to have the packs merge in the mountains so there would be more space. The construction for more houses won't be done for at least a couple months. We are werewolves so it might not take that long, but I'm rounding. Alex signed a treaty with the name of the new pack on it. We're calling it the Pearl Mountain Pack.

It has a nice ring to it.

I watch as Selena leans into Alexandria with that huge smile and all I can think is that I'd never seen my cousin so happy and it makes me over the moon to see her this way.
