Rainbow Guild Continued

HENRY'S POV

I was taken aback when this amazingly calm young man just out right said that we're mates. I greeted him and looked around the room. There were dozens of stunned faces and my Beta, Drake, approached me with a confused look.

"Um, Alpha Henry, are you aware of who this person is? It wouldn't work because you are both Alphas of separate packs."

My eyes widened in realization and changed to disappointment just as fast. I turned on my heel and found my way outside to the pool. I walked over, rolled up my jeans, took of my socks and shoes and stuck my feet in. I was deep in thought and didn't hear or see when someone sat next to me. I heard them speak. It was Michael's deep, soothing voice.

"We can make it work. I want to be with the person that the Moon Goddess has selected for me." He laid his head on my shoulder and let out a sigh.

"Besides, I wasn't a member of the Rainbow Guild until I realized you were my mate."

I starting laughing so hard. His head remained on my shoulder the whole time and we talked for hours. It felt like we were the only two people in the world.

SELENA'S POV

I watched as the scene unfolded in front of me and when my brother went to join his mate, I reached for him but he shrugged me off. I wasn't trying to stop him, I was just trying to comfort him. I looked down at the ground and Alex gripped my hand squeezing tightly. My mom broke the silence that had fallen on the room.

"Let me see my beautiful future Luna of a daughter!"

I looked up just as she grabbed me, looked me up and down, and crashed a hug into me. She whispered in my ear.

"I will help your brother figure it out. Don't worry about him. He'll talk to you when he's ready. He's just upset about not getting to run off with his mate when you did the day after you met."

I nod and walk my mom to the dining room. We have a delicious lunch and we all decided to go swimming after. It took all of us about an hour and a half to two hours before we were ready to swim. So, my brother and his mate went to the theater room and watched a movie together.

"What're you thinking about, doll?"

Alex asked me while pushing my wet hair out of my face with one hand and holding my waist with the other.
