The Encounter

A peacock! ,Holy s**t!.

Upon walking ahead, the cause of the commotion and the thing that caught her framed eyes was a freaking peacock!.

So many questions passed through her mind at that moment, for one why was a peacock out in the open? , who owned the peacock? , who even owns a peacock?!

While trying to avoid the peacock because she was scared if not terrified that the bird may just come after her , after all she wasn't the luckiest person out there , she thought. She noticed that the Peacock was pecking on a car a very expensive and extravagant looking car, not knowing the name because she wasn't well versed with cars.

Wanting to run away quickly so she can get to her house and finally fall into her fantasy world of novels while snacking. On passing by the car , she noticed there was a person inside of the car, it was something you would noticed at first glance since the car was a bit tinted, but if you looked closer. She stopped in her tracks. She sighed , now she had to do something about it " f**k it " Because apparently the people watching the scene didn't seem like thy were going to be very helpful, she rolled her eyes.

Noelle looked for something that could be used to distract the rabid animal, yes to her it was a rabid animal , peacock or not , pretty or ugly she didn't f**k with this kind of thing , No!, she wasn't the one.

Seeing a long wooden stick nearby she went to go get it to use to try and poke the peacock to get its attention , the people around looked at her and stared murmuring

" What's the fatso trying to do ",

" such an expensive car with no guards? " another said

Eventually getting the peacock's attention, Noelle tried luring it away from the car " Here peaky peaky" she said in a calm voice. She didn't know what the f**k she was doing calling it like a dog , but whatever , f**k it, she thought. She wasn't trying to act brave or anything, it was just her instinct to help someone, mostly elderly when they are in need of it, she was just a nice person. Although being nice wasn't always a good thing in this day and age, she sighed. The peacock looked at her c*****g its head, it walked towards her " Oh my God " Noelle said under her breath

" Come on , come on " she said trying to lure the peacock away, the bird suddenly sprung at her , making her scream just as she was about to make a run for it, A man suddenly appeared and grabbed the peacock by its wings making people stare at him " So sorry everyone, I'll take it from here , its our family's peacock" Followed by a nervous chuckle

" We don't know how it escaped , so sorry everyone for the commotion "

With that, the man took his leave making Noelle sigh in relief. The people who gathered had already started to disperse, the crowd had already cleared when Noelle was inspecting the damage caused by the peacock since it wasn't much , seeing as the car was really expensive, it also had good quality and density. Just as she was about to walk away, the back door of the car opened, she saw an expensive looking pair of shoes being worn by a feminine leg, coming out completely was a beautiful and opulent looking old lady , it wasn't quite noticeable that she was an old woman , but the look in her eyes showed her age and maturity which also showed in her face and her regal-like movements

" Hello there young lady " Said the old woman.

Noelle stood there still looking astonished " Uhhh , you , you are beautiful " she muttered still dumbstruck. Regaining her composure she realised that this was probably the person that she saw in the car that made her try to chase away the peace, what am exquisite looking woman she thought

" Uhm, Hello ma'am " Noelle said to her previous greeting

The woman chuckle slightly at the sight of the girl being flustered. " So are young lady , very beautiful ". Noelle just laughed , it was the first time hearing that from someone who wasn't her mother, she just nodded with her lips pressed in a thin line

" I'm not kidding, you are beautiful and a brave young lady , if I may say so myself" she said with a soft smile " I'm Emmeline Hermilies ". Hermilies... Noelle thought that sounded a tad bit familiar, she just didn't know where she had heard the name from, oh well so it's probably from a very wealthy and known family looking at the old lady

" My name is Noelle ma'am, Noelle Brien "

" A pretty name for a pretty girl " the old lady said with the same soft smile " mind me walking with you? Just to pass time , my driver had an emergency so I can't be on my way until he's back " she asked

Noelle was flustered yer again, why would such a sublime looking woman want to walk with someone like her? She thought. Was it because she saved her just as expensive looking car from a peacock, probably it , although she really didn't do much , she thought sheepishly about how she almost ran for her life , the peacock would have definitely caught her because she was an awful runner.

" Sure ma'am " Noelle said

" I saw what you did back there Miss Brien , it was really courageous seeing how scared you looked at the peacock" Emmeline said

" Oh ma'am, I was just trying to help because I saw a person inside the car " she said scratching her neck sheepishly " And you can call me Noelle ma'am"

" Then you can call me Emmeline "

" Okay ma'am , I mean Emmeline " Noelle said with an awkward smile

They continued walkng for a little while, she noticed that Emmeline was staring at her, who suddenly spoke " Noelle " she stopped and looked at her

" I noticed that you don't find yourself very beautiful and if i were to say so myself, you have low self esteem" well we don't all look like you Noelle thought referring to Emmeline

" i have a proposal for you " Emmeline said staring into Noelle's shiny blue eyes " I can make you everything you want to be , everything you ever wished to be , beautiful, although you already are , attractive and what's the thing you kids call it ... hmm , Popular " Emmeline said remembering " I can make you popular and everything you want to be , all you have to do is date my grandson after " She said removing stray hairs from Noelle's face " and you'll even get paid for all your stress , what do you say Noelle ?" She said still staring into Noelle's eye

Noelle stood there dumbstruck... What's going on ? She thought ... Oh Cardi B help me.
