ROMAN’S POV:
I was meeting Lizzie for a coffee today. She has been with Ashk for the past two months. For the first month, Lizzie decided to ignore my entire existence. Now after almost two months she was meeting me for the first time. Her husband was living with me while Zee was mostly at Muhib’s. But all of it didn’t matter as we were either at my apartment or Muhib’s. Recollections and discussing business strategies became a habit.
It was nice to be with them. I didn’t have to sleep at night alone, waking up to a new nightmare every day. But what happened to Naaya had jolted me. I was messed up and the only person that understood me without knowing what was bothering me was Ashk. She was always there. Giving me hot cocoa without asking, giving me an update of my daily schedule one day
