I watched him as he tested the water with his feet. His face shows his reluctance; however, his eyes showed his willingness to enter the river.
I watched him.
“Are you coming for it, or not?” I lightly bite my lips, “I might change my mind if you are not ready to sacrifice.”
“Who said I'm not ready to sacrifice?” He frowned at me before he tested the water with his feet once more before he took the first step into the water.
I watched him with practiced eyes.
“Is the water too cold?” I frown, “is that the reason you don't want to swim?”
“I'm concentrating, you might make me lose focus.” He frowned at me as he closed his eyes.
“There is nothing like that.” I create a distance between us, “nevertheless, I'm giving you the silence you want.”
I started floating on the water.
