Chapter 7

Jason

"Blaze huh?" I think I've heard that name before, but I can't place where I heard it from.

"Will you shut it." He whispers harshly to me. "We are trying to escape, and your jibber-jabbing won't help matters." He says as he looks through the door on both sides, to check if the coast is clear.

After seeing no-one, we continue in silence as we go left through the the long hall way. As we move, I think about  the day when I was captured.

Flash back

After talking to her, and understanding the dilemma she was in. I felt better, knowing my mate was not rejecting me on purpose, but because she was being forced to do it.

As I walk in the woods heading home, I think on what I should do about this, because, this cannot continue. She was meant to be my destiny. My other half. My love. I have to figure out a way to get her back, because I can't live without her in my life, she is my world...

There was a sound of snapping twigs in the distance. So I stood still, trying to listen to what is around me, to figure out what made that noise. After 5 minutes of silence. I continued walking. Going back to trying to formulate a plan on how i can get my Mate back.

Then i feel something go into my butt cheek, and turn to see what stung me, and I see a tranquilizer dart in my butt. I look around trying to find the person who shot me with a tranquilizer me but I couldn't see anyone.

As the tranquilizer starts working i see Tyler coming out of the woods. "What the hell?"

He narrows his eyes at me. "Shouldn't you be out by now? I know I'm a good shot, so what? Did you shift at the last minute or something?"

I can't follow his drivel since I'm starting to get drowsy, but i still find the strength to ask. "Why did you hit me with a tranquilizer?" I am starting to stagger but i have to know if she just lied to me, or I just had that conversation with myself to make myself feel better.

He doesn't answer me and just keeps talking to himself about checking expiry dates or something. I repeat. "What the hell you asshole? I asked why you just shot me in the ass?" He seems taken aback by my outburst and looks at me like I'm the crazy one. Then he walks close to me with this look and next thing, he punches me.

"What the hell man?" I say as I spit out blood. "What is wrong with you? Is this about earlier?" I say with a bit of a slur. The next punch knocks me out.

After that I woke up to a moving van. To find myself tied up and tape on my face. I tried...

End of Flash back

"Ummphh... Hey you numskull pay attention."

"Sorry... sorry. Was in my head for a minute. Gonna focus now." He nears the conner and checks for guards to the left. After seeing no-one. He motions for me to move with him.

As we near the T-junction corridor, to choose if we go straight or turn left, a door to the right opens. One of the pack soldiers comes out. He looks at me, looks at Blaze, looks at were we came from then back at us again.

All of us are frozen on the spot. Until he starts coming toward us. "Hey, where are you two going?"

Out of the conner of my eye, I see Blaze moving, going for the guy. Next thing I know guy is on the floor wheezing. I look ahead and see another guard, way in the distance in front.

Instead of coming to us this one turns back and I get a bad feeling. "Let's move before the other one comes back with re-enforcements."

We speedily turn left, away from the guard who retreated and run straight to another guard who isn't afraid to come barreling at us.

He charges us and tries to punch Blaze but he ducks and punches him in the ribs. His momentum moves him in a way that he was gonna fall on top of me. So I side stepped him and kicked him in the ribs again when he was down.

"Whoa there. We don't kick a man who is already down." Says Blaze as he motions to keep going.

We turn around and go back were the previous guard ran from us. As we continue walking the sound of the alarm suddenly blares over our heads. Telling us the previous guard ran to go get re-enforcements.

"Run!!" Blaze shouts as we hear feet running after us.

While we are running I see stairs and motion for Blaze to follow me. as we near the stairs I see about 5 guards coming at us. "Come on Blaze."

We climbed the stairs and close the door after Blaze enters and lean on it. Then look around to see if there is anything we could use to close the door. I saw an open door and entered to find a chair which we could jam on the handle.

We take off after securing the door to the front of what seems to be a warehouse. After the last column we reached the door and pulled it open.

"Well, what do we have here?"

Mary-Katheryn

Today is a bad day all around. My anxiety levels are like sky high. I have to get away from Dominic, like now. After school I need to run home, and now is the last period.

"Hit the showers ladies!" Coach says, and I am gonna skip it. I know... gross but I have to sneak out of here without Dominic seeing me.

After changing and getting out of the school. I was on my way to the parking lot when I see Dominic standing in front of my car. I growl as I approach. "You didn't think you could ditch me, did you?" Dominic asks as he smirks at me.

"How did you know?" I ask, coming to a stop in front of him.

"I know you, my Mate." He says with a smirk. "Now get in the car." He orders me while holding his hand out. When I just look at him, he barks "The keys!" I give them to him and get in on the passenger side.

Maniac.

That's how this guy drives. Like a maniac. All the way to his place all I did was hold on to the oh-s**t-bar.

We came to a big black gate with a white cottage like mansion beyond it.

The place was really amazing to look at. I was in awe of the beautiful place so when Dominic opened my door I fell on my face with my ass in the air.

"Nice of you to show your respect to your Alpha before entering the pack house. Now get up everyone is waiting to finally meet my Mate." As he says that I look to the door and see that most of his pack members are standing right there with smiles of wonder on their faces.

He grabs my elbow and forces me to stand since I seemed to be stuck on the ground. "Come say hello to your future pack Luna."

"I'm not your Luna." I say, he doesn't say anything just pinches the arm he is holding and holds it tighter.

As we keep on walking, I see a group of girls looking at me with hate, and I know those are his slut brigade. And the funny thing in this situation is that they are gonna wanna fight me for him, when I would be willing to give him up to them.

When we reach the front steps, they open a tunnel hole in the middle of them, and we walk through like we are royalty. At the end of the human tunnel we turn and most of them are standing at attention.

"Red Moon Pack, meet your future Luna. Mary-Katheryn Dlamini, soon to be Black. I hope you all give her the respect she deserves as your future Luna." We start to turn then he turns back again. "Pack meeting. 3 hours. No late comers. Dismissed." He pulls me up the stairs.

"Come I want to show you my room."
