And so I faced the music. I spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon going through the case with the chief and Jackson. I was fierce when I debated my point of view on the "Not For Resuscitation" orders from the patient. I truly believed what I did was right – even though the best option would have been to repair the iatrogenic cause of the bleeding.
