Chapter 6

Thea's POV

Immediately I got to Silvermoon, I knew I wouldn't be able to stay for long. Anyway, I have my army outside Silvermoon and Nightshade border. I only took along with me 12 people that I'm close to. I got to Silvermoon and almost immediately I got a message that I was invited to attend the regional Alpha Summit hosted by Nightshade, and I had earlier heard of this, but I planned on showing up without an invitation and late. Basically, make an entrance and introduce myself.

The guards outside the door of the main hall bowed and welcomed me. Immediately the door opened, everybody rose to their feet in respect, my eyes landed on Kade Blackthorn, Alpha of Nightshade Pack and my mate, the one who rejected me. He looked astonished, he is wearing his official robe, and next to him the the new Luna of his pack that took my place, Morgana. She looked elegant and fit for the position of Luna.

I felt my wolf roaring and excited but my facial expression showed disinterest. I looked away from Kade and his Luna and my pack and I matched towards the other Alpha's, elders, Lunas and leaders of packs.

All of a sudden Kafe stopped me by saying “Welcome back Miss Thea, to the…”

I rolled my eyes and cut him off immediately, with so much authority in my voice and anger I corrected him, “It's Supreme Commander Thea.”

I looked him in the eye, and then proceeded to look at other Alpha's to indicate that I was talking to all of them. I don't expect them anyone to call me Thea anymore, I'm not the same person I was 3 years ago.

I left Kade behind and continued matching to the center of the hall. By now they were all on their seats, I looked around and met the fuming eyes of my evil uncle, Alpha Aldric. I hope he knows I'm coming for him. See him acting all high and mighty. Everyone knows he's a wicked Alpha but no one would expect him to be as bad as he actually is.

“Uncle.” I acknowledged Alpha Aldric, I have to be strategic. Others must know I have nothing against him.

“It's good to see you're alive and well.” He didn't sound glad at all

“Likewise.”

“Go on with your introduction.” One of the Senior Alpha said. All eyes were on me and of course I'm unshaken, I looked straight into the eyes of the Senior Alpha that spoke.

“Good day Senior Alphas, Alphas, Lunas, leaders, a few of you might know me, my name is Thea Reese, I was a member of silver moon Pack, i was also Alpha Blackthorn's mate before he rejected me in a peace summit with his pack and Silvermoon Pack in attendance. I left Silvermoon Pack wolfless, and went to train and I got my Wolf back. And here with me is my pack and new family, Eclipse Moon Pack. This pack is made up of rogues...”

Immediately I said Rougues, one of the Alphas’ snorted and gave us a look of disgust. I held back my anger, I wouldn't want to unleash on them, my first day back.

I looked at the Alpha and made a mental note to check about him after this meeting.

“Like I was saying before I was rudely interrupted.” Everyone wore a look of surprise because of my audacity. This time I spoke louder and with more authority, “This Pack is made up of Rougues, abandoned wolves, wolves that got deserted because of their weaknesses, people that got their wolves late, rejected mates and exiles. This pack is more like a family than a group, we treat each other well, and encourage one another. We have fought several wars together and won, we have great coordination, and I'm sure you have heard a lot about us, and you must be interested in us for you to have called upon us.”

“I don't think we should let these worthless beings into our midst, they will cause havoc and constitute a nuisance, in addition I knew Thea Reese’s mother, unfortunately she was my sister but she was all shades of wrong and was eventually murdered for treason, for years she passed information to the enemies and like they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.”

“Common Alpha Aldric that was uncalled for. Let's give Supreme Commander Thea Reese, evidence of doubt.” Alpha Kade Blackthorn stood up for me.

My wolf was happy but I quickly shut it down. I didn't give anything away in my expression, Moreover this was the person that rejected me. In front of two packs, he could be doing this because of an alliance or he can see I'm stronger now and he's regretting his actions.

I looked at Morgana and I could see that she was wearing a look of hate. She hissed immediately Alpha Kade said that.

“I think Alpha Kade is right.” Another Alpha said and some others nodded, while some others were whispering and some were talking to Aldric, and some others look like they are not here nor there.

One of those I said looked indifferent spoke up, shifting the energy in the room. “You spoke about how you became part of the rogues but you didn't tell us how you became a supreme commander.”

“Ofcourse three years ago when I left Silvermoon Pack I was wolfless, weak, bullied by several people and I left with nothing. When I got to the pack of the rogues I started protecting abandoned wolves, rogues from slave hunters, people from corrupt leaders and the categories I mentioned earlier. One settlement became three, three became fifteen, fifteen became a number of people and we continued growing. When the rogue clans united they elected me to be a supreme commander.”

The Alpha that asked the question nodded.

Then Alpha Aldric decided to talk again, “I can see you're here with just 12 people, are these all the people in your pack?”

It took all of me not to reply rudely and angrily. “Alpha, if I ask you for the number of your pack or soldiers would you tell me?”

He keeps quiet.

“But don't worry we are numbered, my people are camped some miles away from here. No commander brings an army into another Alpha’s territory without permission, unless it's a war. My pack is waiting. I came as a guest not as an invader.”

“Smart answer.” One of the senior Alpha said.

And all of a sudden a guard rushed in, he was panting heavily and he knelt before Alpha Blackthorn. “Alphas, something happened…” he took a deep breath before continuing. “Supreme Commander Thea's pack was attacked.”

I looked at my uncle immediately but he looked indifferent. What

the hell happened? Who the hell tried this nonsense with me?
