Logan took out his phone and answered the call. His eyes had darkened so much that the emotions in them were indiscernible.
On the other end of the phone came Jessica's soft cough followed by her voice, "Logan, I just woke up. The doctor said that my operation was very successful. Where's my sister? How is she?"
Underlying her soft, weak voice, Logan could make out a hint of sincerity in them.
"Perhaps she really had nothing to do with it," Logan thought.
Logan's hardened facial features gradually softened a little. He held his phone tightly in one hand, and the expression on his face remained grim. "Something happened to her after she gave you the kidney."
"What happened? Logan, please tell me what happened to my sister."
Logan suddenly heard a burst of commotion through the phone.
