“Creed, I don’t know if that’s a good idea. Let me think about it. Right now, I need to do some research.”
He took a step to the side of me and leaned against the shelf, “What are we looking for?”
I smiled, “well, it’s not for a class. I’m trying to figure out what’s on my hip.”
I looked into his eyes to make sure he understood what I meant.
Creed nodded and looked up at the books on the shelf.
“I’ll check the other side while you look here.”
I watched him as he walked around the bookshelf. Oh my goddess, that man does something to me. Every time he’s near me I can feel the bond pulling me toward him even stronger. My heart rate spikes, and heat explodes inside my body. It’s like the power that radiates off of him, calls to my magic. It’s a shame he’s such a possessive jerk face.
