I didn’t move.
Asher’s voice was right outside, loud and pissed off, but I stayed exactly where I was — on my hands and knees, Kael’s knot still thick and pulsing inside me, his c*m leaking out around the stretch every time I breathed.
“Keep going,” I whispered, my voice hoarse. “Don’t stop.”
Kael went still behind me. For a second I thought he might pull out anyway. Then I felt his chest rumble with a low, impressed sound.
“Brave little thing,” he murmured. One of his hands slid up my back, fingers spreading over my spine like he was claiming the skin. “Most wolves would be shaking right now.”
He leaned down and pressed his mouth to the back of my neck — not a bite, just a slow, deliberate kiss that made my whole body tighten around his knot. I bit my lip hard to stay quiet.
Asher kept banging.
“Nova! Open this f*****g door or I swear I’ll break it down! I know you’re in there!”
Kael’s knot throbbed again, and another thick spill of c*m pushed out of me. I couldn’t stop the small, shaky moan that slipped out.
“I want him to see,” I breathed. “I want him to walk in and see exactly what his father is doing to the girl he threw away.”
Kael made another one of those low sounds — half growl, half laugh — and kissed the side of my throat this time. His teeth grazed the skin, not hard enough to mark, but enough to make my wolf whimper in the back of my mind.
“Careful what you wish for, little omega,” he said against my ear. “Some doors, once opened, don’t close again.”
He stayed knotted in me until the banging finally stopped for a few seconds. Only then did he start to pull out, slow and careful, letting me feel every inch of him as his knot slipped free. A messy rush of c*m followed, running down my thighs in thick, hot streaks. I stayed on my knees, shaking, while he leaned over and kissed me — soft this time. Almost gentle.
“Answer your visitor,” he said quietly. “Before he really does break the door down.”
I didn’t want to. But I got up anyway, my legs unsteady, and grabbed the first thing I could find — an oversized shirt that barely covered my ass and a pair of thin shorts. I didn’t bother cleaning up. Let Asher smell it. Let him know. f**k it! And f**k him!
When I opened the door, Asher didn’t even wait for me to speak. He shoved past me so hard I stumbled back into the wall.
“Where the f**k is he?” he snarled, already moving through my tiny living room like he owned it. He was sniffing the air, eyes glowing faint red. “I can smell him. His pheromone. Don’t you dare lie to me.”
I slammed the door shut behind him. “You can’t just barge into my house like this. What the hell is wrong with you?”
He spun around, knocking over a lamp without even looking. “Don’t play dumb with me, you f*****g w***e. The whole pack is talking. You were seen with my dad last night and he still hasn’t come home. Where is he?”
I laughed. Couldn’t help it. It came out sharp and mean.
“Insecure much?” I said, crossing my arms. “We’re not together anymore, Asher. What business do I have telling you who I f**k? Even if it’s your own father?”
His face went red. “You disgusting—”
“Oh, and how’s the new mate treating you?” I cut in, voice dripping with fake sweetness. “Heard she’s a real proper little Luna. Bet she doesn’t cry when you knot her like I used to. Is she... a virgin? Oh no!” I covered my mouth, letting the giggle rip through.
That did it.
He moved fast. One second he was across the room, the next his hand was around my throat, slamming me back against the wall hard enough to knock the air out of me. My shirt pulled up slightly, almost revealing his father’s slick running generously down my thighs. His eyes were fully red now, wolf right at the surface.
“You’re nothing but an omega slut,” he hissed, squeezing. “That’s all you ever were. All you’ll ever be. A forbidden hole for stronger wolves to use and throw away. You’ll never amount to s**t in this pack!”
I clawed at his wrist, gasping, black spots dancing at the edges of my vision. My wolf was whimpering, terrified, but I couldn’t make a sound.
His eyes flicked past me. Through the open bedroom door.
The phone was still on the nightstand where Kael had left it, the screen glowing in the dark room. The video was still playing on a loop, paused at the exact moment Kael had me bent over the sink, his C0ck buried deep inside me while I moaned like a desperate slut.
Asher’s hand was still around my throat, but I felt the second his attention shifted. His fingers loosened just slightly.
I watched his face change in real time. His eyes narrowed, locked onto the glowing screen like he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. His jaw tightened so hard the muscle jumped.
Then the sounds hit his ears.
My moans. Wet. Shameless. His father’s deep, guttural growls. The filthy, rhythmic slap of skin on skin. The exact moment I came in the video — the broken, sobbing sound I made when Kael flooded me. He watched it all!
Asher’s face went white. Then red. Then redder, almost looking like Raymond Reddington.
His hand dropped from my throat so fast I slid down the wall, coughing and gasping for air. I barely had time to register what was happening before he was already moving — storming past me into the bedroom like a man possessed. I couldn’t stop him before he barged in.
I heard the exact second he picked up the phone.
The video kept playing. Louder now in the quiet apartment. My voice, high and desperate. Kael’s rough commands. The raunchy, wet sounds of him f*****g me.
Asher just stood there, staring at the screen, his chest heaving. I could see the rage building in his shoulders, in the way his free hand curled into a fist so tight his knuckles went bone-white.
Then he lost it. He slammed the phone against the wall with everything he had.
The screen exploded on impact. Glass and plastic flew across the room. He didn’t stop there — he smashed it again, and again, until the device was nothing but shattered pieces in his hand. He threw what was left onto the floor and crushed it under his boot for good measure.
When he turned back to look at me, his eyes were pure red. “You filthy f*****g b***h,” he growled, turning on me. “I should snap your neck right here.”
I was still on the floor, rubbing my throat, but I forced myself to look up at him and smile even though my voice was wrecked.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” I rasped. “Your father would destroy you and that pretty little mate of yours. He just got back from training. You really think you can stand against him? I don’t think so, poor Asher.”
Asher’s jaw clenched so hard I thought his teeth might crack.
“Fine,” he spat. “Then I’ll do it the hard way. Tomorrow night. Full moon festival. You’re banished. I’ll have you dragged out in front of the whole pack and sold like the worthless omega w***e you are. Let every pack see exactly what kind of slut you turned into!”
He stormed out, slamming the door so hard the frame cracked.
I stayed on the floor for a long time after he left, breathing hard, my wolf still whimpering in the back of my mind. ‘Mad dog. At least he didn’t actually kill me.’
My phone was destroyed. Screen completely gone, glass everywhere. I crawled over and picked up the broken pieces with shaking hands. Sick feeling in my stomach.
“Don’t worry,” a voice said from the corner of the room. “We’ll make a hundred more.”
I froze.
In the darkest part of the room, where the shadows were deepest, something moved. A massive pure black wolf stepped out like he’d been part of the darkness itself. His eyes glowed faint gold. Kael.
He shifted back in one smooth ripple of muscle and stood there naked, calm as ever.
“How did you…”
“Hide so well?” he cut in, “He didn’t figure it out because I’ve spent years mastering how to cloak my wolf and hide my scent,” he said, answering the question I hadn’t even asked yet. “Even from my own blood.”
I sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the broken phone in my hands. My chest felt hollow.
“He’s going to make the rest of my life hell,” I said quietly. “But I guess that’s what happens when you’re an omega. We always end up slaves one way or another.”
Kael walked over, completely unbothered by his nakedness, and started pulling his clothes back on. When he was dressed he came to stand in front of me. His big hand cupped my face, thumb brushing my cheek. This time the touch was gentle. Almost careful.
He looked me dead in the eyes.
“You know, I don’t have many possessions I consider truly mine,” he said, his voice low and steady. “But the few that are? I protect them with blood. The last servant who touched my Bloodstone ring lost his head for it. You understand what I’m saying?”
I swallowed. “That I’m… what? Your new ring? How is that supposed to comfort me?”
His mouth curved, slow and dark. “No, little wolf. You’re the only hand that’s allowed to wear it.”
He let go of my face and stepped back. “Be ready tomorrow night,” he said. “Best clothes you have. I have a surprise for you at the festival.”
Then he turned and walked out, leaving me sitting there with a shattered phone, a bruised throat, and the feeling that my entire world had just tilted on its axis.
