Arielle’s POV
I tightened my eyes shut the exact moment the gun was fired.The sound exploded through the warehouse like thunder and for one terrifying second, I thought Viktor had been shot.
But instead of his body collapsing against mine, I felt him jerk violently as he dragged me sideways to the concrete floor. The bullet came slamming into the metal container behind us with a deafening clang.
“Move!” Viktor barked with his arm locked around my waist before he practically hauled me across the ground while more gunfire kept erupting from the darkness above. The warehouse had become complete chaos.
There were flashes of bullets litting up the shadows every few seconds. Men were shouting over each other, metals were screeching, and glasses were shattering loudly enough to make me flinch
