“Your majesty, what shall I do with the vault thieves?”
“Leave them to rot in the prison. I gave them ways to steal money in this country—of course, anonymously, and then they did it, that just means they’re tempted by easy money. Do you have anything to report aside from that?”
“Nothing at the moment, apart from the thieves receiving death penalties after a year of them staying in prison,”
“That’s just normal, I’ll get some rest now, you go rest as well. But stay alert,”
The next day arrived. King Ovex and Jodie met up outside the Jodie Country’s West Gate, King Ovex is already with his commanders.
“Are you all prepared?” Jodie asked his officers.
“Yes, Head Jodie,” the leader of the officers answered.
“Let’s go meet with King Ovex.” Jodie then led them out of the Country’s Tower—going to the Country’s West Gate.
Jodie saw King Ovex and his commanders that are waiting at the West Gate.
“King Ovex, sorry for the wait,” Jodie said as they approaches them.
“It’s no problem, let’s go to the Blakend Kingdom,” King Ovex said.
They then left the Jodie Country.
| Blakend Kingdom, Axuuhh Continent |
King Ovex and Jodie have arrived after several minutes of traveling, they’ve already entered the Blakend Kingdom’s Ring.
“They have a decent amount of stores and shops here, not just houses,” King Ovex said as they are traveling around the Blakend Ring.
“They’ve definitely thought of this through since they have the help of Azeed Anima,” Jodie said.
“How do we know that this Azeed is well-versed in these kinds of knowledge? In building a Nation,” One of King Ovex’s commanders asked.
“We can assume he can’t but the Queen of this Kingdom—Queen Velverosa, might be well-versed in Nation building. It is one of the required skills of a ruler,” King Ovex answered his commander’s question.
“That’s obvious,” Jodie murmured.
They then continued their walk in the Blakend Ring, until they arrived at the Blakend Center.
“Can I help you, gentlemen?” The guard—that Azeed summoned, asked them before they enter the Blakend Center.
“We are here as Queen Velverosa’s guests, can we go in?” King Ovex said, answering the guard’s question.
“Are you King Ovex and Head of Jodie Country, Jodie?” The Guard asked them.
“We are, I am Ovex Iosco,” King Ovex introduced himself after answering his question.
“I am Jodie Yutan, Jodie Country’s Head,” Jodie also introduced himself after King Ovex.
“Okay, King Ovex and Head Jodie will be the only ones that will be entering the Blakend Center,” the Guard said, opening the gate for the two of them.
“This bullshit.”
“Can we not bring our commanders with us? They are here to protect us,” King Ovex said.
Someone then jumped down in the middle of them. “Unfortunately, gentlemen. Because you’ve written in your letter that only you two—King Ovex and Jodie, will be coming to the kingdom, your commanders are not allowed inside,” Mina said, separating King Ovex and Jodie from their commanders and officers.
“Her presence is f*****g strong! Who is she? Is she the fabled Azeed? I thought Azeed’s a man, maybe it is reasonable, that she is Azeed, this presence is something only God-like beings have.” King Ovex was shocked by Mina’s presence as he assumes she was Azeed.
Even his commanders and Jodie’s officers are shocked by Mina’s powers.
“You must be Azeed, this Kingdom’s protector, right? I’m Ovex Iosco,” King Ovex asked, introducing himself as he offers to shake Mina’s hands.
“What in the world is this man asking?”
“I’m not shaking your hands and I’m not Azeed, he is my lover and our leader, I’m Mina,” Mina said, introducing herself as she refuses to shake hands with King Ovex.
“No f*****g way. She’s not Azeed? Her Magic presence and strength presence can crush kids. But kids can’t feel presence like us adults. If she’s this powerful, then how strong is this Azeed?”
“Oh, is that so, Ms. Mina? Then is it not possible to bring our Commanders with us?” King Ovex said, asking Mina.
“No, if you bring them in, you will break your request to meet not just Vel… Queen Velverosa, but also Azeed. We will not do anything to you unless it’s necessary. You are one of our most valued and future collaborators since you are more trained in marketing than Azeed. Though that’s hard to say out loud because it’s true,” Mina explained, answering King Ovex’s question as she rests her hands on her hip.
“Your majesty, we will wait for you here,”
“We will be in the nearest Inn, Head Jodie,”
After that, King Ovex and Jodie were allowed to enter the Blakend Center after they agreed to leave their commanders and officers outside the Blakend Ring.
“So what’s going on here? Why is it closed and why are my commanders not allowed to enter here?” King Ovex asked Mina as she escorts the two of them to the Kingdom’s castle.
“The Blakend Center getting renovated, so we’re not allowing too many people here,” Mina said, answering King Ovex’s question.
“These workers don’t feel like real people, it’s uncanny.” Jodie is looking around the buildings that are getting renovated.
“Their workers feel like they’re working 100% more than normal workers, they don’t wipe their sweats, they don’t pause to take a breather, or even talk to one another, they might be summoned workers, and if that’s the case—which is highly possible, then it is the reason why they are able to prosper this quick.” King Ovex assessed as he follows Mina with Jodie.
They then entered the Kingdom’s castle.
“Queen Velverosa’s office is this way, follow me,” Mina said as she goes up the stairs of the Kingdom castle.
“Their castle is bigger than ours since they can afford a two-story first floor, which is something we can’t do at the moment.”
“They have far more modern castle building than your kingdom’s castle, King Ovex,” Jodie said, teasing King Ovex.
“I can see that, Jodie, I don’t need mockery right now from a friend after seeing a kingdom that’s improved to this extent,” King Ovex said, smirking the embarrassment.
“In hindsight, we haven’t started renovating this castle. Vel… Queen Vel wants to keep this castle’s architecture, she just wants broken-down areas of the castle to be repaired instead of just renovating the entire castle altogether,” Mina said, reassuring King Ovex.
“That’s even more insulting.” King Ovex just ignored it as he looks at the window of the hall they were walking—which is where Queen Velverosa’s office is.
Mina then knocked on Queen Velverosa’s office. “Queen Velverosa, King Ovex, and Head Jodie are here,” she said, calling her as she informs of the two’s arrival.
“Come in!” Queen Velverosa shouted.
Mina opened the door for King Ovex and Jodie, the two of them then entered Queen Velverosa’s office.
“Gentlemen, welcome to the Blakend Kingdom, to Blakend Center, and to our Kingdom castle, that’s three at once since I believe this is your first time in our Kingdom, right?” Queen Velverosa asked, greeting the two of them in the kingdom.
“Right, I assume you are Queen Velverosa seeing as you are in a grander office, sitting on a grander seat, and in a grander suit than anyone here so far,” King Ovex said.
“You’re correct! And I assume you’re the Ovex Kingdom’s King, King Ovex Iosco, right?” Queen Velverosa said, asking him.
“You’re correct,” King Ovex said, answering her question.
“I’m Jodie, Head of Jodie Country,” Jodie said.
“I know that already. But anyway! Come sit down! The chairs are free,” Queen Velverosa said, enthusiastically inviting them to sit down.
“She’s very enthused.” King Ovex sat down on the chair.
“I’ll be heading out now,” Mina said.
“Thank you, Ms. Mina, for bringing them here,” Queen Velverosa thanked her as she subtly wave at her.
Mina then left her office.
Queen Velverosa slouches down on the table. “So, gentlemen, what is your business in our kingdom?” She asked them.
“I guess this is the time we do deals and all.”
“We would like to do some business in your Kingdom, like connect our trading routes together, sell your kingdom some of the products and items that we sell in our kingdom,” King Ovex said, offering and suggesting to Queen Velverosa.
“Oh, that won’t be any problem since we are planning to do that. But we don’t know what you are selling in your kingdom, what are your kingdom’s main products?” Queen Velverosa asked them.
“I’ve done this several times now, I’m glad I didn’t build a kingdom without any specialties.” King Ovex took out something from his storage ring.
“That’s impressive that he has a storage ring.” Queen Velverosa was impressed.
King Ovex took out a Lantern. “We are focused on devices like this—magical devices. And we found cheaper ways to make these things, like magical cooking devices, magic lights like this lantern, and many more that can be used on daily basis,” he said, answering Queen Velverosa’s question.
Someone then went out of the right door of Queen Velverosa’s office, it was Azeed.
“Who goes there!?” Jodie got paranoid and he took out his dagger—guarding Queen Velverosa.
“Easy, Head Jodie. My name is Azeed Anima, sit down and I won’t hurt you two.” Azeed raised his hands up.
“Azeed Anima?! Is that why I’ve been feeling a s**t ton of pressure on my chest?! His Mana levels and Strength force is f*****g beyond anyone, I will be f*****g shocked if he’s not the strongest being in this world. What have I been missing out!?” King Ovex is nothing but stunned.
“Azeed? I’m sorry, I just got paranoid,” Jodie then sat down on his chair again, putting his dagger back in his belt.
“I guess they got paranoid because my presence was instant for them, though I don’t know about Head Jodie since he’s not as stunned as King Ovex over there.” Azeed went to Queen Velverosa’s side as he smirks at King Over’s situation at the moment.
Jodie doesn’t have the same level of senses as King Ovex since he can only feel a bit of Azeed and Mina’s powers.
“So, I heard you offer magical devices to sell in the Blakend Kingdom, these things are very hard to make since this is a very expensive business,” Azeed said, looking at the Lantern that King Ovex showed them.
King Ovex didn’t respond so Jodie have to snap him back to reality.
“What’s wrong with him?” Jodie tapped his arms.
“Right. It is a very expensive business but we found a way to make it cheaper to make,” King Ovex said after snapping back to himself.
“Did I just get stunned by Azeed’s intense power and presence?” King Ovex asked himself.
“I wonder what happened to this guy.” Azeed thought to himself but then realizes that he was the reason why he was stunned like that.
“How about this, King Ovex? You give me blueprints of these devices then we provide you our store’s supplies for you to sell, you don’t need to buy those supplies but you need to give us only 10% of the profits that you earn. You get to decide how much they’ll be,” Azeed said, suggesting to him.
“Wait, isn’t he giving too much!?” King Ovex was surprised about Azeed’s suggestion.
“Why are you giving too much, Mr. Azeed? How good are these supplies you’re giving us to sell in our kingdom?” King Ovex asked him.
“That’s the spirit.”
Azeed then pulled out a copy of his Gradion Sword. “Something like this, this is something I’ve used for many decades now,” he said, half lying.
“At least, in gaming decades. And this is a copy for emergencies—though I still use it.” Azeed is smirking.
“The quality of that sword is extraordinary, do you only sell weapons?” King Ovex asked.
“We sell tools, armors, and accessories, but we’re only providing weapons for your kingdom, for safety measures,” Azeed said, answering his question.
“How about you, Head Jodie? What is your business here?” Queen Velverosa asked Jodie.
“I don’t think I need to offer them more, I can still buy from the Ovex Kingdom for weapons like these.”
