The Grand Dragon's Barrier. Also, Nico VS. Kenny part 2

Kenny rushed at Nico after Shiro indicated to start by clapping his hands. She started with a head s***h.

Nico, of course, blocked her attack with his right shield. But because of the way Nico blocked Kenny’s Katana is angulated in an incline. Kenny moved her Katana to Nico’s right side after hitting his right shield.

“Oh, crap.” Nico was surprised.

But he is able to parry Kenny’s attack with his right shield as well but this time, he put his right shield into Attack Mode, so the force that his shield absorbed from Kenny’s attack earlier bursts out of Kenny’s second attack—at Nico’s right side.

Kenny’s Katana then was shoved back, of course, Kenny has a tight grip on her Katana so she just pulls it back to her after getting shoved by the burst of Nico’s shield.

“He’s quick with changing his shield’s abilities, I will have to double that speed—if I even can.”

Kenny continued and followed with a s***h on Nico’s left head. Nico just blocked it with his left shield easily, he then punched Kenny with his left shield as well after blocking her s***h.

Kenny shoved Nico to her left with her Katana to avoid Nico’s left hit since she knows that his left attacks are powerful because his left body is made of Magic Steel.

“I can’t let any of his left attacks hit me, at least, I’ll try.”

“She’s pretty reactive to dangers. I guess she’s going to be like this for the whole fight, avoiding my left attacks. How about I subvert her strategy?”

Nico charged at Kenny.

Kenny went to her stance, ready and watching Nico’s left body. But she didn’t expect what Nico will do.

Nico right front kicked Kenny on her body, she was surprised that she had to move to her left side. Nico then followed it up with a high side kick to her face. Kenny blocked it with Katana’s pommel.

Kenny head slashed Nico after she was shoved back. Nico just blocked it with his right shield.

“He’s definitely confusing me, this man!”

“HOW ABOUT RELAX?” Cypher suggested Kenny.

“I thought you’re not gonna help me?”

“I SAID I WON’T TAKE OVER YOUR BODY. I DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT NOT HELPING YOU. SO! HOW ABOUT WE SLICE THIS MAN TO BITS?”

“I don’t think I can slice him up without getting myself in the worst position, so I’m gonna need to find his fighting style first, he’s the type to fight with his advantages, but it seems like he can enhance his weaker side if he wants.”

“THEN THROW A FEW SLASHES THERE FOR ME, KENNY.”

Kenny then dashed at Nico. Nico dashed at Kenny as well.

Though Kenny was trying to trade hits with Nico by attacking one another and defending against one another. But Nico had to end it quickly since he noticed a few seconds of delay in Kenny’s movement after side kicking Kenny’s head, he thinks she’s getting tips from Cypher.

Kenny slashed Nico’s left again. Nico blocked it with his left shield—that’s still on Defense Mode from Kenny’s head s***h earlier. But Nico redirected Kenny’s katana to his right.

Kenny then right slashed Nico but…

“Wait, what am I doing? This is almost pointless against him!”

“YEAH, WHAT THE f**k, KENNY?” Cypher questioned Kenny’s attacks.

“Don’t question all of my attacks.”

Because Kenny was distracted talking to Cypher in just a split second, Nico then hit Kenny with both of his shields and because he switched his shields’ abilities to Attack Mode, Kenny was launched at the side of the Arena.

*Boom*

“Are you alright, Kenny?!” Kai shouted, asking her as he went to her side.

*grunts* “That’s painful…” Kenny said, trying to get up slowly.

“I GUESS YOU’RE NOT DESTINED TO EVEN COMPETE WITH THIS GUY IF YOU CAN’T EVEN REACH HIM.”

“I think I already know that, Cypher.”

“Are you injured?” Kai helped her stand up.

“Something like this doesn’t hurt me. Though it just infuriates me since he can shove me this far—by my own attacks too,” Kenny said, grabbing Kai’s arms and standing up.

“So do you give this win to me?” Nico asked as he approaches them.

“How about not being too smug about it?” Kenny asked him.

“Hahaha! Sorry about that.” Nico said.

“I want to go back to the mansion now; I haven’t done any night cleaning since there are dirt and dust that I can only see and clean at night in the mansion,” Shiro said to them.

“Yeah, I’m kind of tired now, we should go back.” Nico retracted his shields back to his wristbands.

The 4 of them then returned to the mansion with Shiro’s help since he has his own Mansion Ring.

The next day arrived after the 4 Grinn Corp Members returned to the mansion. Gazelle was confused when she looked for the 4 of them in the Mansion and they were not there.

“I thought you guys were on a mission, I just returned to my room and continue what I was doing. Turns out, you guys are having fun.” Gazelle drank her coffee.

“She’s conditioned herself to think the Blacksmith is her room after being there for many months, this lady.” Shiro finished his coffee.

“Well, Sir Azeed allowed us to have fun there with a rule of not overdoing it. Anyway, I’ll go to work.” Shiro quickly cleans his, Gazelle’s, and the other’s cups in just 1 second using his Unbind powers to move fast.

“Did he know I just finished my coffee?”

They then went to their work—in the Azeed Establishment.

They all gathered in the meeting room of the building since they need to do something before the expansion of Blakend Kingdom becomes official.

“Azeed, everyone’s here,” Mina said.

“Okay! We will rebuild the barrier of Blakend Kingdom. But we need to do something first before we do that, that’s why I called you all here. You all can use basic magic, right?” Azeed said, asking them.

“We can, I mean, I can.” Nico raised his hand slightly.

“I have mana. If that counts?” Kenny said.

“Kenny can do it since she has Mana—she just has no spells, I can since my powers convert Mana to a Molten power,” Kai said.

“I can,” Shiro said.

“I can too, but I only dabbled in it for a year since I quickly found out I’m a Warrior, a Blacksmith, and a Trader. At least, I’m good at those,” Gazelle said.

“Good! We will be rebuilding the towers of the barrier that’s currently around the inner Blakend Kingdom but this time, we will add 2 more towers to power a bigger and stronger barrier.” Azeed sat down on his chair that Mina provided, “we will not yet move the citizens of Blakend outside until this barrier is done,” Azeed said, explaining to them as he takes the cup of tea that Mina made for him.

“What kind of barrier we’ll be building this time?” Mina asked him.

Azeed then stood up. “We’re building a Grand Dragon’s Barrier. It’s one of the reasons why I went on an Evil Dragon hunting for a week,” he said.

“That’s a very powerful barrier,” Kai said.

“I know. Let’s go to the castle to tell Queen Vel about the barrier, she has been bothering me about the barrier for a whole week last week,” Azeed said, heading out of the meeting room.

The Grinn Corp Members followed Azeed out of the meeting room.

“What are your excuses about it, Azeed?” Mina asked since she knows Azeed is procrastinating about it ever since the expansion of the kingdom has begun.

“I’m glad you asked—again, I don’t know why I too, maybe my old self is kicking in, I usually have all the energy in the world when working here,” Azeed said, answering Mina’s question—again.

“I guess Azeed is now developing that since he—and also we are getting comfortable in this world.”

“God—f*****g damn it, Mina. But then again, I’m the one that’s procrastinating. It just bit me back since I took a whole week collecting the materials for the Grand Dragon’s barrier.”

They then left the Azeed’s Establishment building and headed to the castle to talk to Queen Velverosa about the barrier rebuilding that they planned.

When they entered the castle and headed to Queen Velverosa’s office. Azeed explained to her their plan of rebuilding the towers of the barrier and summoning a newer, tougher, and stronger barrier around the Blakend Kingdom.

“The Grand Dragon’s barrier, I’ve never heard of this spell before.” Queen Velverosa is reading a document that’s summarizing their plans—as well as the Grand Dragon’s barrier.

“Neither have I. Is this something only you have, Sir Azeed?” Mildred asked Azeed, she also has her own document that Azeed gave.

“Yes, pretty much, but I couldn’t get materials for it. A. Because they’re hard to collect before since I was weak as s**t back then when I got this spell and B. I don’t have a use for it since I am mostly a Paladin and a Swordsman—I don’t need this grand of a Magic before,” Azeed said.

“The other reason that I can’t tell is that I need 12 Grand Dragon’s Eyes! I was weak as f**k before, a Grand Dragon is jacked so much that in order to kill them, I need to be level 50, LEVEL 50! And even if I’m level 50, they’re still jacked as hell because you need a whole group of players to kill them.

But now! I can kill them in one go since people here are warriors and I’m level past 100 now, and the other is because the requirements for this f*****g Grand Dragon’s barrier is nerfed in this world, I only need 6 eyes.”

Azeed is still annoyed by that.

“This will be great, I will take care of the materials needed for these towers you’ll be building, will you need workers to help you?” Queen Velverosa asked them.

“Oh, the workers. I got that covered,” Mina said, answering Queen Velverosa’s question.

“Do I need to do something or…?” Mildred asked them.

“We pretty much got it, Mildred, don’t worry about it,” Azeed said.

“Just help us with the materials and others more if we need it,” Nico said with a thumbs up.

They then left the castle and headed to the section of New Blakend Kingdom where they were stationed in.

Azeed will be in the middle of Blakend Kingdom and the six Grinn Corp Members, Nico, Mina, Shiro, Kai, Kenny, and Gazelle are spread out the New Blakend Kingdom.

“Put the Materials here!” Mina 154 shouted.

Mina used 200+ Mina clones and distributed them to the others, 30 Mina Clones each. Mina is not constrained by her Mana anymore since she has 10x more Mana than before.

“I don’t really need to do a lot since you already know how to build this kind of tower.” Nico is sitting down on his chair, watching the Minas build the tower.

“That may be true, but our coordination is still in your hands,” Mina 97 said.

“I know, that’s why I’m watching,” Nico said.

The towers were then finished after a lot of hours have passed.

“I thought there’s a reason why Sir Azeed is not working on the barrier of the building. Not like I’m demanding for it to be built or demanding him.” Queen Velverosa was surprised about Azeed’s accomplishment, “But I didn’t expect for him to build these towers for the barrier in just a day, I guess his confidence knows no bounds when it comes to these things,” she said.

“It is Sir Azeed, your Majesty,” Mildred said.

“I guess you’re right, anyway, let’s go to a bigger balcony to see the barrier’s summoning,” Queen Velverosa said, as she heads to her office’s balcony.

“Mina, Nico, Shiro, Kai, Kenny, and Gazelle, are the Grand Dragon’s Eyes set up?” Azeed asked the Grinn Corp Members in Mina’s Mind Gate.

“It is,” Mina said.

“It’s all set,” Nico said.

“Done,” Shiro said.

“Done too,” Kai said.

“Me as well,” Kenny said.

“It’s done on my part as well,” Gazelle said.

The Grinn Corp Members answered.

“Okay, I’m summoning the Grand Dragon’s Barrier—I’m already done with the Barrier’s Core here.” Azeed then read the spell’s code.

The Barrier was then erected. Enveloping the Blakend Kingdom’s surroundings.

“The Grand Dragon’s Barrier is done.”

Azeed was finished giving Mana in the Barrier’s Core Crystal.
