Second Prince

Inside a dimly lit room, two people were wearing black cloaks and having discussions.

" Your majesty is there any benefit by conquering Scorchvale".

" There is but, I can't tell you the reason. You just need to fulfil the task".

The man had a gloomy expression after hearing other party words and he said," okay your majesty".

"You can take these tier 6 snow lizard monster core", saying so the mysterious man placed a box in front of him.

After looking at the monster core the man felt like this deal was good enough so his gloomy mood changed into a flattering one and said," okay majesty, I will prepare to attack in the next month".

"Okay, I am satisfied to hear your answer. Try to capture the territory of Scorchvale within the next three months. Not more than that", said the mysterious man.

" I will send the orders", saying so he bowed and left the room.

After the black cloak person walked out of the room, behind the mysterious person a shadow walked out of thin air and said," you majesty is it worth it to conquer Scorchvale as, as far as I know, there is endless dessert and then there is a vast sea out there".

The mysterious man finally removed his hood to show a young man in his twenties. His eyes were deep and you would be surprised to find that the level of the young man was tier 4 mage (wind/fire). If you have ever been to the Kingdom of Azov then you would be surprised to find that the young man looks exactly like the second prince.

Then the second prince replied to shadow," you don't understand my plan. The Viscount of Scorchvale has one side endless desert that meets Greenwood forest and the other side is the endless sea. But now it is the richest city in the kingdom. Do you know why?".

Shadow bowed his head and began to think and then replied," Second prince you mean the magical salt produced by them".

The second prince nodded his head and said," yes this is the real reason. But I need to say that the barren land that has been turned into a gold mine is all Viscount Melchior doing. After all, that region was given to him as an exile. So I ordered the Viscount of Talin to attack them and the cost I gave was a monster of tier 6 core. But in return, I can gain enough money. I think father would be happy after I deliver him this piece of land".

The shadow looked at the second prince and asked," second prince, indeed has far more insight than us", saying so he flattered and then he frowned and said," second prince after Viscount Ivo had already reached top tier 5 mage. And now after taking the core of the tier 6 monster he will become enough powerful to apply himself for Earl/ Marquise. So what if he doesn't follow your majesty orders".

The second prince said," of course,e I had thought about the problem, that's why I gave him tier 6 frost poison lizard monster core instead of frost lizard. This monster core was identified by the auction house where I bought the core. After using it Viscount of Ivo will promote to tier 6 but after that, he will be poisoned. After three months his death will be certain and then I will place a chess piece to take the territory".

Hearing the second prince words the shadow felt a chill behind his back and then decided to be wary of the second prince as who knows when he will poison him and make him his puppet. Thinking about it he began to flatter.

While Viscount of Ivo walked of the room and then hurried to his territory and then decided to consume the monster core. 

After a while he reached back his castle then he removed his hood and said," I am going for retreat".

The guard said," Lord good news the First Son has returned from the Holy Academy and he asked you to meet urgently".

Hearing the guard words the Viscount decided to meet his son and then he walked towards his room and said to the guard," Send him to my room".

The guard ran away and then came to a room and knocked on the door. Then he said," young master, Lord has called you into his room".

Then a young man walked out of the room. His body gave off a noble aura that made the guard feel the same pressure as the lord, so he unconsciously bowed his head until the young man walked out of sight.

After that, the young man came to his father room and then he said," father you called me".

Viscount Ivo said," yes Gifford. I heard in your letter that you had already become a tier 5 assassin mage this month".

Vicar Gifford said," yes father, and I made enough merit to redeem tier 6 frost tiger monster core. I wanted to give it to you father".

Vicar Ivo looked at his son with a surprised expression and said," you should keep it. As you will become a tier 6 assassin mage later. It will be more helpful to you".

Gifford said," father when you become a tier 6 mage you will have the chance to become a marquise/ earl. After that, you can hunt me a tier 6 frost poison lizard as that monster core I need to make a pill that will help me get poison element".

Hearing his son request Ivo was moved and then he said," son I got a tier 6 frost lizard monster core. If you haven't come then I would give you a surprise by becoming tier 6".

Gifford asked," my father can you please show me the monster core".

Viscount Vicar Ivo was puzzled and then he took out the monster core and gave it to his son.

Seeing the monster core Gifford face become ugly and then he asked," my father did you offend someone".

Looking at his son ugly face and the question his son asked made Ivo feel that there was a problem with tier 6 monster core and then he answered honestly," no, this core was given by his highness second prince".
