For the rest of the week, after Zayn's confession, something seemed to have changed between us. Needing a breath of fresh air, I eagerly accepted Yuna's invitation for an afternoon of shopping at the city's premier plaza and since we hadn't talked in a while, it was a nice catch-up.
We were casually checking out some dresses with Yuna happily chattering away about a new project, when we were suddenly interrupted.
"Oh, look who it is! What a wonderful surprise!"
Recognizing the voice, I closed my eyes briefly and released a breath and then, turned around slowly to find Ivy walking into the boutique with her fingers tightly wrapped through Caleb's arm. Caleb looked stiff and the moment our eyes met, his were full of irritation.
