An insight It was the honking of vehicles around them that woke Ahana up. Her eyes opened slightly and she struggled for breath. Her mouth was as dry as cotton. She tried to push out her tongue to her lips, but she couldn't, instead her tongue touched against a cloth that was tied around her mouth.
Gasping for breath, she looked up at the driver's seat, where a man wearing a lab coat was controlling the starring wheel. Her hands were tied behind her back and her sister, Isabelle, was propped up unconsciously against the other door of the car.
She closed her eyes and tried to recall what had happened when a shooting pain around her waist made her moan. Her muffled voice filled the car and the two men instantly turned their heads.
