Mr. Baldrick drove the car past the honking cars and usual city noise to a three-story building that was just a mile away. The car tyres screeched on the driveway, and Azriel got out quickly, without shutting the door behind him. Baldrick led him to the basement that held the records of all the cases ever registered in the police stations of Los Angeles. He walked as quickly as possible and his arms flung in opposite directions.
