Katy's Point of View
It's been a week since any sort of bad thing has happened. My father was finally released from the hospital a few days ago, and my brothers have been enjoying the city as they've never done before, Mark's parents; my in-laws; and my family are getting along, and my friends have been joining our gathering every night, and Mark and I are having the best s*x ever. Mark has been wanting to tell me something for a long time but has been holding it off. So, to sum it up, the Smiths and Connors, along with their friends, are having a great time together and discreetly celebrating everything as one big happy family.
As soon as I stepped into my office, I was surprised by a sea of white roses. I was astonished, unsure if I had stepped into a florist store or into my office.
