Mark’s Point of View
A flat-screen television was activated. I stared at the screen, which had become black with some white and grey lines crossing it. Then, out of nowhere, the sound of a beep, beep, beep… filled up the room. Katy's soft voice started to speak, "The time has arrived to say hello and meet the ones who are still so small. A heartbeat will bring many tears, but it will also bring all of our fears. Our arms longed to hold them. Our hearts yearn to meet them. We will love them unconditionally. Today is the day you'll get to see them. They will live in a spot in our hearts that we had no idea existed, like small bean seeds, tiny and alive. From our children, we wish you a very happy birthday, Dada."
