Katy's Point of View
Mark has been working from home because he didn't want to leave us alone, and I've been relying on my team for the workload. Mom has been in our house for the past two days, and today is Saturday, the weekend. I responded to essential emails, but I was more preoccupied with my parents. Lilly, the nurse, is one of a kind; she's extremely wonderful to my mother, and now we've left her at home with Lilly, and we've come to the hospital after being called.
I walked into the unit, and my heart is overflowing with happiness. The doctor just gave me a few minutes to see him. Even if it's a one-way communication, I like that I can still see and talk to my father, and share with him our daily routine.
