As an ex-employee of an event planning firm, one thing I learned is that you should not treat your employees as if they are beneath you. Before starting my own business a few years ago, I worked as an event organizer for a company where I had to deal with ten different bosses. They would take credit for my accomplishment and my efforts, as well as I, had to obey all of them.
