None of the doors were locked, which made little sense. I tried opening the door to the school entrance and, to my surprise, found it unlocked. I regained the ability to walk at that moment. It was a pleasant change. Walking through the hallways felt eerie. I was the only person there, and the silence was eating me alive. Everything had a strangely menacing aura that I could not explain; it was just off. I felt like I was being watched by someone or something, but I couldn’t see anyone when I looked around.
