21 Yulia “So, tell us, Yulia,” Obenko says, leaning on the table. “Why didn’t you get on that plane?” I remain silent and focus on taking small, even breaths. One inhale, one exhale. Then again and again. That’s all I can do at the moment. Anything else is beyond me.
