( Shayla's next visit to the physiotherapist with Gary.)
"Shayla, please continue." Dr. Chad tells her as Gary struggles with his emotions, listening to what his wife has gone through. Shayla looks around the room at both, the lovely gentleman she's living with and for the courage to go on with her memories from Dr. chad. With a nod from the Doctor to proceed, Shayla clears her throat as she begins.
I head for the dining room, ignoring the mess. The rug is crooked from when I dragged Shayla up the stairs, and the lamp on the hall table is on its side, but it's not broken. My keys and wallet are still on the floor from when she knocked them off the table in an attempt to take them and run away. The dents and scrapes on the walls are a bit more challenging to fix.
