THE LAST DRAGON EGG

Chapter Two

While young Valerie is still sleeping, the young dragon can't sleep due to knowing that both Valerie and himself are in real danger. It’s 3 in the morning, and Valor still notices the book on the floor glowing. As he looks at the book, he quietly says to himself “I have to get that book for my new friend” as he notices the lights going out, and fog starting to roll in. “I have to wake valerie up before we get caught”. So little Valor wakes up Valerie, and she notices the fog rolling in and the lights out. She asks “Valor, what's going on? Why is there fog in the cabin? Why’s that book glowing? And why are the lights out?” 

“We’ve gotta get out of here, the darkness is right around the corner not very far behind”. “Quick Valerie, grab the book, take quick drawings of the walls real quick, and let’s get out while we can, I’ll fly us as far as we can away from here.” So little Valerie and Valor get away and the darkness arrives in its shadow form!!! The shadow senses that they were here, and soon it says this “I am the darkness of this universe, and no one can stop me. You may run, but wherever you go, you can not hide, for I am meant to rule the universe. RUNNN!!!!!”

We arrive in some small town, in an alley, and we notice no one around, so Valerie asks where we are. I respond by saying “I don’t know young one”. Before they go out to explore the little town, Valerie notices Valor glowing and then shifting into human form. Valerie's jaw drops. What, says Valor, “you didn’t know I could change my form?” I’m a magical beast, that’s part of what I do. As Valerie starts to believe him, he says we must hurry and explore to find the great wizard to help us understand these symbols in the book and that you drew. So we explore a little bit, and I notice a small noodle shop nearby and ask valor if we have time to stop for some food, and he says no, we must hurry because we don’t have much time. So we go off to find this so-called “Great Wizard” to see if he can help us. 

As they ran off into the deep scary woods, they noticed a house that was so big and shiny, they would’ve figured it was the great wizards house, only to find out that it was a trap set by evil trolls. So they go inside and look around to find the same symbols as they have seen before, only to find out that they are in the right house of the great wizard being tied up and thrown in a room in the dungeon and learning Valerie’s true powers. The trolls are helpers of the darkness, and have come to this earth to destroy Valerie before she finds out the true meaning to her fulfilling powers. As Valor and Valerie look around they don’t see anyone and think that they’re alone until they hear a loud boom upstairs. BOOM!!! As soon as they hear that, they immediately run upstairs and look around to see where the sound came from only to see a room door open up. They head towards the room and hear a strange sound and ask “who’s there?” They head towards the room and enter cautiously only to see trolls jumping around throwing potion bottles all over the place tearing pages out of books, and destroying the place like it’s their own home.

They try to sneak out only to hear the floor squeak. Screeeccchhh!!! The trolls suddenly stop, and look at them like they’re idiots and they slowly turn their heads while trying not to move only for the trolls to notice them and start chasing them with the potion bottles. So Valor and Valerie start running while screaming “LET'S GET OUT OF HEREEEEEE!!!” They ran so fast that the trolls couldn't keep up with them and escaped to another room so far down in the dungeon only to find the room that the great wizard was in knocked out. They had no time to waste so they tried waking up the wizard as fast as they could, only to hear the trolls coming. Valerie noticed one of the potion bottles the trolls threw in her hoody, and reached in and grabbed it and it read “Waking Potion.” So she opened the wizards mouth and forced the potion down his throat, and as soon as it hit in, the wizard suddenly woke up and broke free. 

As soon as the wizard broke free, he started glowing, ran out of the room and he said some sort of ritual in weird wording to make the trolls go away. And before we knew it, we saw the trolls disappear like they were never there, and everything back to the way it was before all the chaos happened. Minutes later with our jaws dropped, the wizard asked what happened, and asked what we were here for. Valor responds by saying “We Need Your Help!!!” Let’s wait until morning young one, we’ve had a long day and we all could use the rest. Goodnight my younglings. Sleep well.
