I could still feel a pinch of pain when I shifted my legs on the mattress. I could hear Wyatt and Greyson’s heart rate start to slow. Then their breathing began to slow, and I didn’t have to look to know they were drifting off to sleep. I rolled over and snuggled into Greyson’s chest as I drifted off to the sweet darkness. Then a sudden drop and jostle of the plane had my heart resting in the pit of my stomach. I heard a low chuckle behind me and turned my head to see Wyatt smiling. He just laid there as one of his arms laid over his eyes, not giving anything away.
