I couldn’t believe that I just did that! I didn’t even utter one word to them, so they would know that I was ok. I called them from my phone, so they knew it would indeed be me, and then I panicked. I knew that would make this all the worse for them to wonder even harder what was happening.
“What the f**k are you doing?” Lucas yelled.
“I couldn’t do it! I can’t lose them!” I yelled back.
