chapter 2( The meeting)

15mins later they reached the office Eureka hugged her father and went off for her training while Mr miles took the front door to the building with his secretary Mr James by his side who waited for him to arrive....sir good morning, your meeting with the Parliament head Mr Rob is in 4min.the conference room has been set but he has not arrived yet. the both were walking with haist to Mr miles office to get the necessary documents needed for the meeting when James interrupted and continued:all the documents required for the meeting are right here with me; when he heard this immediately he turn to his left where the elevator is and press the open botten, when the two entered, James press the number 3 botten and the door to the elevator closed and in ten seconds they reached the third floor and they both came out heading for the conference room to their right, James opens the door for his boss to enter while he follows.

as Soon as they entered,Mr miles stood there for a second lost in his thoughts his gaze was focused on the long big wild center table surrounded with ten chairs,nine of them were occupied, noticing that that the last empty chair is to be occupied by him, coming back to reality he quickly responded to their greetings and questions of ( are you okay sir.....?'I'm fine'. can we get to the real business of the day asked mr Rob with no hesitation.. sure sir: so the main rea.......(James was interrupted with a quick throw back at him ):are you the boss ? why are things not properly done within this organization; Mr Rob asked with a disappointing look on his face.

Mr miles turned to James and said : I'll handle it; so the main reason we all gathered here is to build an alliance together against our common enemy (crime). stopped for a while took a bottle of water and continued .

what's taking them so long asked Justin (one of the agent in the organization) it's been two hours already and yet no one has come out or even down stairs; he mumbled. in her own side of the cabin (am also surprised the meeting is taking more time then expected ) followed BB who's cabin was nearest to Justin's.ohh did I say that out loud? Justin asked.yes you did,as a matter of fact i also thought of that too BB replied.

mean while, on the other hand Eureka was done with her training so she headed for the organization . when she entered turning to her dad's office she noticed he wasn't there "may be he's still in the meeting she contemplated. so she decided to wait. ten minutes later she couldn't wait any longer so she heads for the conference room to see if her father was okay.

Eureka got to the elevator, took the lift, got to the conference room, reached for the handle of the closed door to open when she heard a loud voice it was almost as if the owner of the voice is yearling more than shouting on someone for something very special, she hesitate and pused for a while at the door paying close attention to know more about what prompted the loud voice she heard earlier. much later she heard another voice trying to calm him down ..."please sir this is a conference hall not a shouting room is for thinking please calm your nerves" the voice ulttered back .

soon the argument subsided and when Eureka noticed,she moved away from the door and suddenly, two men in Black suit walked out of the room with a disappointing look.few minutes later another man walked out of the room and moved towards the men who came out earlier.when she noticed that most of men are outside bshe knew her father would still be inside so she entered , seeing her father wasn't in a good mood, she held back her question and asked him if it was time to leave, he nodded and gave the files to James and left the room in a disappointing manner.

when the two of them got home, he quickly got of the car and went straight inside. "that's unlike him, she wispered on a normal day when the two would reach home ,Mr miles would always be the first to open his door, go straight to the left and opens for his lovely daughter.

opens the front door to his well built mansion, he went straight up to his room, then to his bathroom to take his shower, may that will cool my head; he said to himself. few minutes later he came out from the wash room wore his night wears and layied on his bed with his eyes open.

later that night, eureka decided to go check on her father but when she got there he was asleep so she left the room.

A new face of the morning appears and eureka rushed out of her room and heads straight to her fathers.it was as if she didn't sleep at all that night because of her father's mood.as soon as she got to his room, Mr miles on the other hand was absent minded thinking of what to do and the statement that was made by James,"to think out side the box" flashed on his mind, he kept on thinking and didn't notice when Eureka knocked the second time,it was when she called out to him from outside his room that he realized that someone was standing outside his room. so he told her to come in.as Soon as she came in, he turned his gaze towards her and saw a beautiful young lovable cute average in height brown skined girl, who stood in front of him smiling.

Dad are you even listening to me?she called out to him when she noticed that his mind wasn't there. yeah baby am sorry , I just got carried away by your beauty . he replies.

she paused for a while and continued;by the way,how did your meeting with the "you know who"went?, from your mood yesterday it didn't go well.

He held her hand and said to her that it didn't go well but not to worry he was feeling much better .he continues and now I get to think straight and come up with a much better idea on how to handle this case ..

okay you better think fast because I want my daddy back okay she said with an authoritative tone and left the room.
