CHAPTER 31"I cannot believe you said that in front of your parents!" I quietly exclaim as I wrap foil around the dish of sauce noodles
The brunette continues to laugh as she washes the glass dishes with a yellow sponge.
"Relax, they know that I'm kidding" she assures me
I turn around to face her, giving her an incredulous facial expression.
"You said and I quote, 'how dare you adopt a child without proposing to me first'," I quote her words from earlier
This only causes her to laugh harder.
"Who in their right mind says that in front of their parents of all people?! Do you understand that you could be killed for saying that around the wrong person?!" I continue to scold her
The brunette turns around to face me, leaning her hands back against the counter.
"You worry too much" is all
