Chapter 8

Erza POV

Driving to the next town over usually takes about an hour but on a motorcycle and short cuts, we made it in 15 minutes. We turned a few more corners into the back alleys. "You're not planning on killing me, are you?" Lucas said with a nervous laugh.

"Stop overthinking things will you," I said rolling my eyes. "Hey, don't roll your eyes at me, and I don't have to see your face to know you are doing it," Lu huffed. I didn't even bother to answer back since we have made it to our destination.

Breathing in "Oh, how much I miss this place." "You been here before. No, not that what is this place" Lu said clinging on to me. I ignored what he said and walked to the front mental door and banged on it. 

"Step back," I said to Lu already knowing what is about to happen. The slot on the mental door open up and the person behind it said, "Password." "Open the door fatass," I said grinning and opening my arms wide.

Not even a second later the door banged and I was swooped up into a spinning hug with me and the big guy laughing. Putting me down, I hit his arm and looked up at him. 

"Where in the world have been Erz," He said. "Around the world then, decided to settle down in the next over and also decided that I haven't been here in a while. Hey, do you think I can do it tonight, Tom." I said holding up my fists. "You to ask the boss on that one, but I'm pretty sure that he will let you.

"Um," Lu said feeling left out. "Oh, sorry. Lucas this is Tomithy or 'Tom' for short and Tom this is Lucas or 'Lu' for short." I said introducing the two. They both smiled and nodded at it other. 

"Well let's head inside," I said walking in like I own the place, which is kind of true.
