Nathan’s POV.
I couldn’t believe I had said it and gotten that off my chest. I could finally breathe easily again.
I know I had said it earlier but I had felt like maybe she would take it the wrong way, but to say it now and feel like I was within my rights to say it, it felt good.
Her reaction was all I needed to know if this was going to be a success or a failure.
With a smile on my face, I stared at her and wondered if she would say anything back.
She tried to say something else but I felt like maybe telling her I liked her was not the way to go about this. I needed to let her know how I really felt and I was ready to do that with her.
So I went further.
