Sarah was saying nothing but the truth but still, I was furious at her for bringing up something I thought had been buried up.
Thanks to her, there was definitely going to be chaos in the pack as the elders were going to stand in opposition to my union with her but that was the least of my concerns.
Before now, it has always been Lunaria and after now, it's still going to be her.
No one is going to change it, not even Sarah who felt she was protecting us, the elders, or the pack members who were definitely going to create a scene.
“Nathan, you need to understand me. I’m doing this for your good and that of Lunaria.” Sarah broke into my lines of thoughts and immediately, I snapped my head upwards.
“You shouldn't repeat that,” I said through my teeth, walking past her.
