Thanks to the timely intervention of Liam, I didn't get to answer Alpha Nathan’s question.
With brisk and hurried footsteps, I hurried towards my room, trying to hold myself back from yelling out my lungs as father's words kept replaying in my head.
Several times, I stopped on my track, resting against the wall for a few seconds so I wouldn't trip as my eyes were blinded with tears.
Finally, I got to my room and then banged the door shut in fury.
Before I took a step forward, the tears which I had managed to hold back started rolling down my cheek in torrents and soon I was sobbing uncontrollably.
Resting my back against the wall, I had my legs pulled up to my chin, tightening my grip each second.
