"We should find about their leader...." Mallika said as the ministers and scholars came out of their initial shock they went watching the princess discussing the politics!
Well they all believed that this was strictly not for women but then they can't go against the king to risk their posts and lives. Could they?
"Indeed! " said the prime minister.
"Mallika is right the daicots are surely supported by someone big. Who is helping them in these kind of things. " the king said while scanning the faces of the people present in the court. Shocked, flabbergasted and angry even? Well, this was supposed to happen, wasn't it?
A few were impassive as if nothing had affected them but some of the faces clearly showed anger.
Well that was not the surprise for neither of father or daughter. They knew something like that will come. But neither of them knew something so disastrous will be planned for them for breaking rules of social hierarchy.
Unknown.
"After all these years this is what we got? " his eyes burned red in anger and humiliation.
"Now a girl will tell us what we should do now? " he released a deep sigh to control his fury.
"A mere girl???"
It was dark, blackness inside out that engulfed these people.
In the slight light of flickering fire torches the other people most of them courtiers and officers nodded in agreement to the man in front of them. They could never accept the fact whole heartily that a woman will rule over them. 'What a shame!'
"We should do something to get rid of her sushen ji! " replied another man present over there.
"This is insane! " added another. "How could his highness do this?"
"Has he lost his mind?" and the questions and murmurs kept on arousing one after another as the night went by, the traitors planning against the crown, traitors who King Arman thought to be his greatest ally and loyal officers.
And then the first person smiled evilly before he explained every little details to the other courtiers. Who have witnessed everything in the morning court. Which was followed by a few other evil laughter in the darkness.
'We all tell our loved ones to beware of the bad people, but no one can tell who is it! He didn't were a black cap, to be spotted easily, neither there are scars running down his black face or a evil smile playing on his face, but what if he is smiling at me telling me how wonderful life is??'

PRESENT TIME
(BEFORE THE WAR)
Back to the present she heard the sound of drums and conch shell!?
There was a war?!
What was this happening? She was unable to comprehend anything. The sun was set and the night sky was illuminated by the half moon when she raced back to the palace dreading the worst.
THERE WAS A WAR!
people were running everywhere, as if the place was set on fire. The women ran carrying their children in their arms and the men ran with the cold metallic amour on their bodies. A swords hanging down their waist bands.
"Ah-" a woman cried in pain as she collided with Rajani and fell down on the floor. She was surely in hurry in fact every one was!
Rajani came down on her knees and offered her hand to the lady and she reluctantly took it to stand up.
"What is going on here? " rajani asked. "Why is everyone running? "
"You don't know? " the young lady seemed quite surprised as she saw Rajani moving her head in no.
"The Sultan of Delhi had attacked on us, without any pre notice." She stated with her eyes daileted in fear.
"You should leave the palace and run away to save your life! " she said and walked away in hurry without glancing at Rajani even once.
Well then her work was done? The destruction had already hit her enemy's fate?
Rajani didn't bother to go back to her little chamber to collect her things. Whatever she had bought with her was irrationally useless.
Instead she started to walk away, back to her home. A part of her was happy with that news but then another part of her heart was hammering loudly as if something was going to happen too wrong.
She walked past the main entrance of the palace and saw people gathering their precious things, food clothing and praying for their lives. On the contrary she was empty handed and free. She saw as the streets of the village became isolated like an empty desert. The door of each and every single house closed, no sign of humans just a few fledgling once occasionally. The darkness increased as the night fell.
She was already out of Umarkot till midnight and within the day after tomorrow noon she would be home, if she is able to cross the dense forest till tomorrow night.
She can't help but think that something wrong is going to happen!? Her heart told her that, but everything was good as her mind processed.
