The first thing I saw was Damon, not Elodie. Not Nyra. Not the dozens of Alphas filling Alpha Rowan's estate. Damon. Standing in the center of it all like he owned the kingdom. Which, unfortunately, he did.
For now, the crown suited him more than I liked to admit. Not because it made him look noble because it made him look dangerous.
Confident.
Secure.
