“Do you know her?” I ask.
“I used to know her. Let’s see to Talitah. I do not want to talk about her now,” Mason says.
I have a feeling Mason does not want to talk about Rebecca. I walk over to Talitah. I feel for her pulse, and I am relieved when I find it. She is alive. I decide to leave it for now. Mason will tell me about her when he is ready.
I think Rebecca was about to tell me who her father is. She is afraid of the man. I have a feeling her father is Blake Jackson. He must be the one who sealed my wolf away. I am sure of it, but I cannot prove it yet. I say nothing else. I know Mason has a past with the Jacksons, but I do not know what it is. Is Rebecca the reason he does not believe in the mate bond? Is that why he does not want to talk about her?
