Andre's betrayal was like a jagged splinter buried deep in my heart, and no matter how hard I tried, our relationship could never return to what it once was.
Bart had been openly defying Andre's commands, his actions a blatant challenge to Andre's authority.
Once again, Andre barked out an order, "Take him into custody as well!"
Two guards swiftly seized Bart, while another pair moved to apprehend Tina.
But then, out of nowhere, just as the guards were about to grab her, Tina pulled out a knife and plunged it into her own chest.
"Ah~!"
A collective gasp of horror rippled through the crowd, parents instinctively shielding their children's eyes.
How had things escalated to this point? Everyone was stunned, frozen in disbelief.
