Jamie's POV
I shot up in bed with sweat covering my entire body. I put my knees up, wrapping my arms around my legs. I started to sob into them and I felt Xavier start to move on the bed.
"You're okay." He whispered to me, wrapping his arms around my shaking body.
"W-why is this happening to me?" I asked him.
"I don't know, baby, but we're going to figure it out." He said.
For an entire week, I've been having nightmares about the pack taking me back. It was terrifying because all I wanted to do was stay with my mate in our house that's protected by hunters.
Xavier pulled me so I was laying down in his arms. His hand ran up-and-down my back to calm my nerves while he other hand ran through my hair. He kissed my forehead when there was a banging on our door.
