Jamie's POV
I woke up to hear Xavier screaming at someone. "You know what you have to f*****g do! You protect me and Jamie at all costs!"
He was standing in front of a hunter named Arthur with the most stressed look on his face. I had no idea what was going on right now, except that we were in the hospital room thingy and I was connected to machines.
"Xavier," He turned around to look at me with a smile. "come here."
He started to walk towards me and grabbed my hand, sitting in the chair next to my bed. "How're you feeling?"
"Like s**t," I said. "but I'm okay. What's going on?"
"Our old pack is coming after us. They found out the location and are on their way." He squeezed my hand, then brought it to his lips to give it a small kiss.
"Who shot me then?"
"One of the pack members."
