Lauren and Finn had rented a ryokan, a traditional Japanese inn, in Bessho Sasa in the province. The room they occupied exuded serenity and cleanliness; a generous king-size bed occupied one side, complemented by two large couches and a table on the other. Through a partition, they accessed the outdoor onsen, akin to a spacious jacuzzi, offering an unobstructed view of Mount Fuji in the distance.
The clear sky added to the perfection of the moment.
As Lauren immersed herself in the breathtaking scenery, Finn approached her from behind. He enveloped her in a warm embrace, planting a gentle kiss on her temple.
